Alan Kidd is a saddlemaker with over 25 years of leather working experience. As a working cowboy, guide, packer, teamster and competitor, he has a lifetime of experience with horses on which to draw. Assisted and influenced by many, Alan attributes much of his knowledge to master saddlemakers Matt Eberle and Roy McCaughey and leather craftsman Clint Fay. Living by the creed of not producing anything he can’t be proud of, Alan uses only the best leathers, hardware and accessories.

Saddles produced by Alan Kidd range from working wades to arena roping, pleasure and cutting saddles. Floral carving, full or partial basket stamping, or border stamping and custom silver can be added to any saddle. All are built with Herman Oak leather on a high quality, made to measure custom tree with the best available hardware.
